Facility Rentals
Event Use of Public Areas, Parks, or Township Complex
Any group planning on utilizing Upper Gwynedd Township's public areas, parks, or Township Complex for an event must request a rental online no less than 1 month prior to the event. It is highly recommended that you confirm availability via our online calendar before submitting any rental request. Please note, we are only able to accommodate 1 reservation per day.
You must be an Upper Gwynedd Township or North Wales Borough resident to reserve the pavilion or gazebo. Playground rentals must be within a designated service area - ask to see if you fall inside the service area. 215-699-7777
Please submit two separate checks once your rental is confirmed.
Gazebo Rental
Adjacent to the basketball courts is a Victorian Gazebo. The Gazebo is available for use for such activities as weddings and wedding photographs. Please be advised that you do not need to be a resident to utilize the Gazebo for weddings and photographs. Please note, we are only able to accommodate 1 reservation per day. However, the fee is as follows:
- Up to 4 hours is $20.00
- Security Deposit is $100
Pavilion Rental
The Township has a Pavilion and an adjoining parking facility. The Pavilion is available for use by Township and North Wales Borough residents for private social functions. For further information concerning rentals, contact the Township Office or reference the cost chart below. Be advised that the use of alcohol on Township grounds is strictly prohibited. A maximum of 125 people is enforced. Please note, we are only able to accommodate 1 reservation per day.
- Up to 4 hours is $40.00 for individuals
- Up to 4 hours is $80.00 for Upper Gwynedd Township businesses/organizations
- Security Deposit is $100.00
Playground Reservation
Parkside Playground is on the Township grounds. Due to the high volume of requests from individuals and schools to use the playground it became necessary for the Township to implement a service area. You may call into the Park and Recreation Director prior to submitting the form to see if you fall into the service area. There is no fee to use the playground. Per Ordinance 95-5 if an outing is being planned with ten (10) or more people attending a permit is required with a maximum of 75 people. Please note, we are only able to accommodate 1 reservation per day.
