Solar Eclipse Gathering
According to weather.com, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting the Moon’s shadow on Earth. A solar eclipse can only happen during a New Moon. The Moon’s orbit is titled 5 degrees to Earth’s orbit around the Sun. Join Upper Gwynedd township Park and Recreation to view the 2024 Solar Eclipse. We will have solar glasses on hand for those who participate and blankets available for you and your family to relax on our field. Refreshments will be served, and we will provide NASA paperwork on each stage of the eclipse.
When: April 8
Time: 2pm – over (4:30ish)
Where: 1 Parkside Place, North Wales – in the field between the Pavilion & Courts

Galentine's Day Bag Bingo -- SOLD OUT!
Grab your besties and join us for some fun. We will be playing 10 games (and 2 special games) of BINGO for amazing purses (Kate Spade, Coach and many more.) Earth Day Community Garden Kick Off
2024 Global Earth Day initiative is: PLANET VS. PLASTICS. Our theme, Planet vs. Plastics, calls to advocate for widespread awareness on the health risk of plastics, rapidly phase out all single use plastics, urgently push for a strong UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution, and demand an end to fast fashion. On Earth Day, Upper Gwynedd Township Park and Rec will be planting our community garden. Grab your family, friends, young and old and come help plant beautiful flowers! Join Upper Gwynedd to make positive change in the quality of life for our residents.

Unity for Kindness 2nd Annual Food Truck Festival
Upper Gwynedd Parks and Recreation will continue with this amazing event featuring James Day and the Fish Fry Band. This Zydeco band will bring the funk and the fun. Join us, to spread kindness, enjoy live music, a poetry contest, food trucks, speakers, and diversity. This unique event has something for everyone!

This fun filled week is held all over Mont County. Check the website for details: www.montcoseniorgames.com . Concerts in the Park
Grab your blanket, lawn chairs, family, friends, and come see some fantastic bands! Concerts will be held in the Parkside Place Complex Debarth Amphitheater and will run from 7:00 – 8:30PM. Our kids concert on June 19 will take place at 5:30PM.
June 19: Cool Beans (Kids concert) *Please note, this concert will begin at 5:30PM. - Kono Pizza Food Truck will be present and available for purchases.
July 10: The Early Beatles Tribute: Studio Two (Classic Rock & Roll) - Scratch Kitchen Food Truck will be present and available for purchases.
July 24: The Large Flowerheads (Groovy 60's) - Red Stone Food Truck will be present and available for purchases.
August 7: Greaseband (Classic Rock, Pop) -Molto Bene Food Truck will be present and available for purchases.
September 18: Philly Funk Authority (Pop, Rock & Roll Party Band) -Wrap N Roll Food Truck will be present and available for purchases.
Movies in the Park
Grab your blankets, chairs, family, friends, and come see some great family movies! Movies will take place in the Parkside Place Complex Debarth Amphitheater lawn beginning at dusk (approx. 8:30–8:45PM).
