 ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE UPPER GWYNEDD COMMUNITY

The Upper Gwynedd Community Association (UGCA) is a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit Corporation established by the Township Board of Commissioners to encourage philanthropy in support of community programs. UGCA enables individuals, businesses and private foundations to make charitable, IRS approved donations for worthwhile and fulfilling community activities which support civic, recreational and other public needs to benefit the Upper Gwynedd Community. The UGCA is committed to carrying out programs and projects which are outside of and complementary to Municipal programs.

Township groups that are already benefiting through the UGCA include the Police Department, Parks and Recreation Department, and Health and Wellness, and Math and Science Community Programs.

The response to the UGCA’s mission has demonstrated strong willingness of the parties to give back to the community. This means of supporting activities and providing benefits to the community should encourage all to donate to the UGCA, which can be for a specific purpose, such as for the groups shown above, or for other worthy causes identified by the UGCA Board of Directors. The UGCA Board of Directors consists of two members of the Upper Gwynedd Township Board of Commissioners and Community representatives.

Donations should be made out to the “Upper Gwynedd Community Association” and sent to Nathan Crittedon, Township Finance Director, at the Township Building.
