POLLING INFORMATION

Primary Election 2024

In advance of the Pennsylvania Primary Election on Tuesday, April 23, Montgomery County, PA Voter Services shares important reminders about voting by mail and in person.

Voting by Mail
Montgomery County is aware that some voters have experienced delays in receiving their requested mail-in ballot. USPS has confirmed to us that most voters who received email confirmation that their ballots were on the way should have received ballots or will receive them by the end of this week.

Montgomery County urges those voting by mail to use one of the County’s 12 secure drop boxes located throughout the County. Ballots delivered to a secure drop box are picked up daily by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies and delivered directly back to Voter Services. A map of the drop boxes is available here. Most drop boxes are available 24 hours a day until April 23 at 8 p.m.

When voting by mail, voters must sign and date the outer envelope of their ballot and can only deliver their own ballot, unless they have a completed designated agent form.

Expanded Satellite Office Hours
To ensure that Montgomery County voters have every opportunity to participate in the primary election, Montgomery County has opened additional Voter Services satellite office hours and locations this week:

offices location

Wednesday, April 17
5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Lower Merion: 925 Montgomery Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072

Thursday, April 18

Friday, April 19

Voters who applied to vote by mail but would like to receive a replacement ballot can fill out a “cancel and replace” form in Lower Merion or Norristown during the hours listed above. When they pick up their replacement ballot, they can complete it and return it before leaving the satellite office to complete the voting process. Or they can take it home to complete and return via one of the County's 12 secure drop boxes before election day on Tuesday, April 23.

Voting In Person
For registered voters of Montgomery County who wish to vote in person, polling places will be open on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
