Upper Gwynedd Parks and Recreation Program Refund Policy
There are no refunds unless a program is cancelled. If paying by credit card, the processing fee will not be refunded for any reason. Upper Gwynedd Township does not collect the processing fee. For those registering for an athletic or outdoor program such as tennis, soccer, basketball, etc. ; please be aware, Upper Gwynedd Township Parks and Recreation will reserve one day for a rain out. In the event that there is more than one day rained out, there will be no refund. Upper Gwynedd Township will only host one rain date per program.

Camp Parkside & Minis Camp
This amazing and fun camp is a chance for your child to hang out with other cool kids and counselors. They will be very busy all day, doing arts and crafts, games, sports, hikes, and so much more. Each week, we bring a special activity for the campers (ice cream truck, inflatable water slide, fire truck, etc.) All this is included in the cost! ***Camp Parkside & Minis AM Camp runs 9:00AM – 12:00PM and Minis PM Camp runs 1:00-4:00PM. Camp Parkside & Minis PM Camp pick-up is at the Pavilion and Minis AM Camp pick-up is at the Community Center. Space is limited!

Teen Trip Camp
Upper Gwynedd Township Park and Recreation is bringing back our Three Week Teen Trip Camp for ages 12 – 15. This camp runs Monday – Thursday from approximately 8:30AM – 6:00PM (times will be slightly different depending on each trip.) Each day, the teens and staff will get on a bus from Parkside’s Pool Parking Lot and travel to a different location to have a fun-filled day! The schedule below is RAIN OR SHINE and is TENTATIVE as trips are subject to change. All tickets and bus fees included. Teens will need a packed lunch or money to purchase lunch. Grab a friend and sign-up today!

i9 Sports Basketball Camp
i9 Sports Basketball Summer Camp focuses not on winning and losing but rather developing motor skill, promoting fitness and creating self-confidence. It is a great way to improve skills, and to keep everyone active! The camp curriculum teaches the fundamentals of Offense, Defense, Game Strategy and Teamwork in a fun, positive environment by i9 Sports Certified Staff. All athletes, regardless of skill level, will learn Basketball skills along with valuable sportsmanship lessons such as respect and teamwork.

i9 Sports Cheerleading Camp
i9 Cheerleading Summer Camp focuses not on winning and losing but rather developing motor skill, promoting fitness and creating self-confidence. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Cheerleading. We will learn a mix of age appropriate Cheers, Chants, and Stunts. We will perform for the participant’s families on the last day of camp.

Mad Science: Jr. Physicians Academy
Explore all of the cells, organs, muscles, and bones that make up YOU! Put yourself together from the inside out, while learning about all the systems that make your body tick! Get microscopic while making a model cell and inflatable lungs, and then get a little sticky while making Mad Mucus and a mashed potato brain!

CSI: How STEM is Used to Solve Crimes Camp
STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs and exercises will cover many “CSI” topics including: collecting, analyzing and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more…. This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students. Current or retired Detectives teach this class.

Pottery Camp
Camp is a great way to spend a week getting to know the art of ceramics, while meeting new friends and fellow artists. Each day begins with a new lesson on hand building, followed by a guided project incorporating the new technique taught. We will also be dabbling with modeling clay (oil based polymer.) All terracotta projects will be glazed by the participants and then taken back to INDI studios at the end of the week to be fired. All pieces will be available for pick up within 10 days from the last day of camp. Please bring a light snack and drink. Science Explorers Camp
Fizz, Bang, Boom! What do you get when you take the physics of motion, add in some electrifying experiments, and mix it up with some chemistry? Everyone has a blast! In our half day camp you’ll create your own battery-powered invention, experiment with light and flight, make your own kaleidoscope and experiment with giant floating bubbles.

Chess Wizards Summer Camp
Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

Young Rembrandts - Enchanted Academy Drawing Workshop Camp
Be prepared to be whisked away to an enchanted academy where nothing is as it seems. Experience the majesty of the great dining hall as our students illustrate a beautiful graphic. Amuse yourself in the not-so-ordinary life of the academy with a plethora of cartoon drawings. From drawing an enchanted forest to a day at the races with dragons, it’s nothing but fun in our classroom. The final of day of the Enchanted Academy Workshop will introduce our students to pastel chalks as they create a whimsical drawing of a phoenix. Please wear an old shirt or smock to the final day of class.

Adventures in STEM with LEGO® Materials
Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.

i9 Sports Flag Football Summer Camp focuses not on winning and losing but rather developing motor skill, promoting fitness and creating self-confidence. It is a great way to improve skills, and to keep everyone active! Creative Kids Camp
Unleash your child's artistic spirit as they dive into a world of colorful papers, glue, and endless possibilities. Total Soccer Camp Full Day & Half Day
Day Camps are offered at a variety of locations throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. Our Day Camps offer full day (9am-3pm) and half day (9am-12pm) options Monday – Friday. The focus of day camps is age appropriate instruction based on our own C.O.R.E. Curriculum. Coaches use fun games/activities, functional training and competitions that incorporate skill development, and live game play to improve the technical, tactical, and cerebral aspects of the game for each player.

Mad Science Full Day Camp: NASA Journey to Outer Space & NASA STEM Explorers
Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond as we explore planets, moons, and other space phenomena. Create a comet and build your own Mad Science rocket and participate in a real NASA style rocket launch! Campers will take home additional NASA activities to complete at home! Additionally, developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Research Challenge (NASA OPSPARC). Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem here on Earth?

Theatre Horizon Summer Drama Camp
In Theatre Horizon’s Summer Drama Camp, young actors spend a week working as an ensemble to create an original play – full of drama, comedy, suspense, and one-of-a-kind characters. Professional teaching artists guide campers through playwriting basics and fun improvisation games. On the last day, they perform their world premiere play for an audience! In Summer Drama Camp, children make new friends, build listening and ensemble skills, take on leadership roles, and explore their creativity.

USA Sports Group Multi-Sport Camp
Our flagship Multi-Sports Camp gives players the opportunity to experience over 10 different sports across a fun-filled week of camp. Every camp is coached by our professional and energetic coaches who are trained to encourage maximum participation, good sportsmanship, and above all - FUN! Our Multi-Sports Camp is a must for children who are either new to playing sports and want to experience many different forms, or for the sports enthusiast who just can’t get enough!
