The Township requires haulers to provide curbside collection of leaf waste at least once during the spring and at least once during the fall of each year. In the fall, waste haulers will advise you of their leaf pick up dates for recycling. In recent years, there has been a significant reduction in the amount of leaf waste going to a recycle facility, from 906 tons in 2015 down to 235 tons in 2019.

The Township is examining ways to increase the amount rather than have it go to a landfill. Alternative methods are under review and more information will be distributed in the future.
