Streetlight Procurement Program starting soon!

Construction for the Township’s Streetlight Procurement program is set to start either next week or the following week. As part of the program, the Township has purchased back our streetlights from PECO and will be upgrading our streetlights to LED. This will allow the Township to control the maintenance of our lighting and offer valuable benefits such as: reducing energy consumption by 50-75%, improve lighting performance and quality, increase safety, reduce light pollution, and save the Township over $250,000 over the next 20 years! Once the project starts, construction is estimated to take approximately 13 working days to complete all Township owned lighting. We ask that you use caution when you see a crew member working.
