EAC Composting Workshop 10/18
The Upper Gwynedd Environmental Advisory Council, in partnership with Back to Earth Compost Crew, will be hosting a Home Composting Workshop on Wednesday, October 18th. The workshop will be held at 6:30 PM in the municipal public meeting room at Parkside Place.
Residents will have an opportunity to purchase a compost bin at a reduced rate and learn the Five Easy Steps to Home Compost from Colleen Falicki of Back to Earth Compost Crew. The workshop will be great whether you’ve tried composting at home without success or you are new to composting and want to learn what it's all about. The workshop will provide tips and tricks to give you the confidence to get started and support to help you along the way to create nutrient dense compost from the food scraps in your own kitchen.
Capacity is limited to 20 residents. Each participant will receive a Geobin compost bin which weighs only 7 lbs. and is rolled up into a box for easy and convenient transportation.
