Haines Run Streambank Restoration Grant Award

Upper Gwynedd Township is very excited to announce we are the recipient of another grant for our Haines Run Streambank Restoration project. The Township has just been awarded $580,852 from Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to be used towards the construction costs for the project. To date, the Township has been awarded a grand total of $946,181 from various grant funding sources!

The Haines Run Streambank Restoration project will improve water quality while reducing downstream flooding and environmental impacts in the Wissahickon Creek. We hope to continue to acquire grant funding for this exciting project.
