Dog Park Survey

Several residents attended the May 14, 2018 Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting and expressed their desire for the Board to research the feasibility of adding a dog park in Upper Gwynedd Township (UGT). It was decided to create a sub-committee, called the Dog Park Feasibility Committee (DPFC) to explore this concept. The committee is comprised of staff and residents, including a representative from the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and a member of the UGT Board of Commissioners.

The DPFC has since met and developed a survey to be taken by residents of UGT and neighboring communities. The intent is to understand the need and/or desire of adding a dog park within the Township. This survey is available to be taken online beginning today at www.uppergwynedd.org and is also available to be completed at the Township building. The survey should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete and responses will remain confidential to those on the DPFC. Responses will be collected through July 29, 2018.

The results will be made available on the Township’s website. Questions or comments may be directed to Alex Kaker, Director of Parks and Recreation at AKaker@uppergwynedd.org or 215.699.7777.
