Zoning Hearing Board

The Upper Gwynedd Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing at the Township Building at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.


            Hearing No. 13-10; Ms. Barbara Price Negor and CN Enterprises LLC dba Stage Coach Schools, 245 Towyn Court, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002, has filed an application requesting a special exception pursuant to Article §195-12A(3)(a) of the Upper Gwynedd Township Zoning Code (Code) to permit her to use a portion of the Sanctuary United Methodist Church facilities and parking lot for a performing arts school as an educational use as a tenant in the subject property which is located at 1346 E. Prospect Avenue, Upper Gwynedd, PA, which is in an R-2 Residential Zoning District.

 

           Hearing No. 13-11; Mr. Robert O. Capps, 883 Clover Drive, North Wales, PA 19454, has filed an application requesting a two (2’) feet side yard variance from Article V, Section 195-12B(6) of the Upper Gwynedd Township Zoning Code to permit him to construct a detached garage on his property located at 883 Clover Drive, North Wales, PA 19454, which is in an R-2 Residential Zoning District.

 

Also to be heard before the Zoning Hearing Board again will be:

          Hearing No. 13-04; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kulbeda, 246 Hunter Lane, North Wales, PA 19454, have filed an Application requesting certain zoning relief to permit them to construct an addition to their home located at 246 Hunter Lane, North Wales (Upper Gwynedd), PA 19454, which is in an R-2 Residential Zoning District.  The Applicants are requesting the following zoning relief:  (1) An 8 ft. front yard variance for the Grannery Lane yard from Article V, §195-12B(3) of the Zoning Code ; (2) A 15 ft. front yard variance for the Hunter Lane yard from the same above section; and (3) a 29 ft. rear yard variance from Article V, §195-12B(5) of the Code.

 

           Hearing No. 13-07:  Mr. Michael Hunyady, 1909 South Broad Street, Lansdale, PA 19446, has filed an application requesting certain zoning relief from the Upper Gwynedd Township Code (Code) to permit him to remove three (3) existing sheds and replace them with one shed on the property line behind his home located at 1909 South Broad Street, Lansdale, (Upper Gwynedd), PA, 19446, which is in an R-2 Residential Zoning District.  He is requesting the following: (1) An appeal from the determination of the Zoning Code Enforcement Officer that the three (3) existing sheds are not non-conforming structures to be replaced with similar non-conforming structure; and (2) Alternatively, a six (6’) feet variance from Article V, §195-12B(6) of the Code to permit all of the aforesaid.
