The Tax Collector  maintains a separate office which is located off of the lobby / vestibule on the administration side in the  Township Building.  In-person payments can be made during office hours on Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m..  For additional hours, view the listing on the front page of each of the tax bill, or call 215-699-6689.  Payments are also accepted at the following address:

The Tax Office is CLOSED on Election Days and Legal Holidays & 7/4-7/8, 11/7-11/11 & 12/5-12/9/16.

If you are a resident of Upper Gwynedd Township you pay a 1% Earned Income Tax.  Please be advised that 1/2 % goes to the North Penn School District and 1/2 % goes to Upper Gwynedd Township.

The LST (Local Service Tax) no longer exists but was replaced with the EMST (Emergency Municipal Service Tax) of $52 per year.  This tax is assessed to only those who work in Upper Gwynedd Township and is to be deducted at the rate of $1.00 per week (or equivalent) from one's paycheck.

The Upper Gwynedd Tax Collector, Jane Murray, does not collect these taxes.  Both are collected by Berkheimer Tax Administrator.  You can contact them by calling 610-363-7214 or by visiting their web site at www.hab-inc.com
