Summer Basketball League
It will soon be time to register for Upper Gwynedd Township's Summer Basketball League. You may pick up registration forms at the Township Building between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm. The form is also available by clicking on the link below.
Teams and individuals from the North Penn School District will have priority registration on Saturday, May 31 from 9 am until noon.
All others may register on Thursday, June 5th from 7 pm until 9 pm or Saturday, June 7 from 9 am until noon. We will not be able to accept registrations at any other time. This will enable us to contact coaches, make up schedules and notify players well in advance of our start date in mid July. There will be a coaches meeting on June 19 at 7pm at the Township Building.
We can only accommodate a limited number of teams per league and registration will be closed when we reach our maximum. Please make sure you have all necessary documents when you register.
The fee is $75 per player. You may register as a team, but you will need a registration form and payment for each player. In order to hold your team's spot, a coach must be named and at least eight registration forms with payment must be submitted at the time of registration. A team consists of a minimum of eight (8) players and a maximum of twelve (12) players. Additional players may be added at the league commissioners discretion. A player is not considered registered until the registration form is submitted and the fee is paid. Only registered players may be on the court.
The intermediate and senior divisions will begin play on Monday, June 23. The junior divisions will begin play on Monday, July 7. The girls' program will play its games on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The boys program will play its games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We expect to schedule ten games each night to be played on the hour from 6 pm until 11 pm.
Player Eligibility:
Boys Junior Division: 5th & 6th grade / 7th &
8th grade
Boys Intermediate Division: 9th & 10th grade
Boys Senior Division: 11th & 12th grade
Girls Junior
Division: 5th & 6th grade / 7th & 8th grade
Girls Intermediate Division: 9th & 10th grade
Girls Senior Division: 10th, 11th, & 12th grade
