Please call 9-1-1 to report any damaged traffic signs, lights, markings, etc. You may also make suggestions or inquiries about traffic safety issues by calling the police department at 215-699-5861 or by stopping in Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4:30 pm.
The Deputy Chief coordinates the traffic safety program for the police department. Residents' requests for enforcement in certain areas and violations are prioritized and assigned for selective enforcement on a regular basis. Please call 215-699-5861 and speak to the officer on duty about your concerns and they will be addressed.
For Residents that are concerned with driver's speeding on their road, there are signs available at the Upper Gwynedd Township Police Department that say Please Drive Slowly. These signs are free to residents.
If you are planning an organized run, walk, and/or bicycle ride event that is any part of Upper Gwynedd Township, please contact Deputy Police Chief David Poirier at least 6 months prior to your planned event date. The Police Department will assist you with route planning and safety issues. The Board of Commissioners will need to review the event requests in advance in order to approve or disapprove them. As always, safety is our top priority.
