The Upper Gwynedd Township Police Department Community Relations-Crime Prevention Unit has a Welcome Neighbor Program. An Officer visits homes of new residents and offers them a New Resident Packet. The packet includes a booklet with information from the Board of Commissioners about the Township, an introduction to various Township Departments, a brief History of the Township and information from the Community Relations-Crime Prevention Unit on Neighborhood Watch and Crime Prevention Tips. A PennDOT form for residents to change their addresses for their driver's license and vehicle registrations is included along with 9-1-1 phone stickers and information on when and how to use 9-1-1.
