Jaws, Claws, Talons & Paws

9:30 am - Noon ~ Ages 4 - 6

Many predators have special adaptations that help them catch their prey.  Wolves and jaguars use their strong jaws and long teeth.  Hawks and owls have no teeth, but they do have powerful sharp talons on their feet.  In a fun and non-threatening way, we'll discover the tools of the trade of these more fearsome and fierce animals by examining the features and techniques of special predators.  Join us for this exciting park adventure.

Special Forces: Predator Power

1 pm - 3:30 pm  ~  Ages 6 - 10

Amusement Park Adventures

Come along for the ride as we build, mix and spin our way to an awesome Science Explorers' carnival day!  Visit the midway where you'll experience first-hand a rockin' rollercoaster, bouncing bungees, and creations and concoctions straight from the lab including a super spin-art machine, homemade ice-cream, awesome art potions and a "gingerly-made" soda.

Earth's Mysteries

Discover the amazing mysteries of the earth!  Go back in time and create cast fossils, get an up close look at the food chain as you dissect an owl pellet, harness solar power to cook a yummy snack, and create a tornado in a bottle!  There is so much to discover about how things work on this incredible planet!

Under the Sea

August 13 - 17  ~  $195  ~  9 am to Noon  ~  Ages 7 to 11

Explore Marine biology and oceanography as you come face to face with some unique sea creatures such as a squid.  Bringto life a genuine Triassic Triops, conduct a whale adaptations lab and examine many "weird wonders of the sea".

Take a Dive

August 13 - 17  ~  $195  ~  12:30 pm to 3:30 pm  ~  Ages 7 to 11

Dive into a world of marine biology! Dissect a real shark, participate in a fisherman's challenge, examine the anatomy of a fish and learn the ancient technique of gyotaku or "fish rubbing".  Learn how to survive at sea with a homemade solar still, create a kelp forest and make your own submarine.

Lego Club Camp

Upper Gwynedd Community Center

July 16 - 20  ~  Cost: $159  ~  12:30 pm to 3:30 pm  ~  Ages 5 - 10  ~  Note**  Parents should pack a snack

Get your ticke tot ride at Bricks 4 Kidz very own Lego Amusement Park!!  Campers will build a new ride each day while learning how to make things spin, roll, turn and rock.  Each camp day day includes carnival themed games, group challenges, model-building and more.  Our more experienced campers will build more detailed and challenging versions of the same rides.

Tots Story Hour

This program is designed for children 3-6 years old and will focus on stories, crafts and songs.  Librarians from Lansdale and North Wales libraries will lead the program.

Ever wonder what your facorite sports players eat to help them stay fit and healthy?  This program will teach your children some new and fun recipes that will help them eat healthier.

This fun program will allow your child to create and eat dishes from around the world each day.  Cuisines will be featured from Italy, Mexico, France and the last day will highlight dishes from different regions of the USA.
