Upper Gwynedd Township Parks and Recreation Department will provide traditional and innovative recreation, leisure and cultural activities in a quality environment for all residents of the Township. We provide comprehensive park and recreation programs, facilities, and services which respond to changing needs within our community. We strive to preserve, enhance, and protect our open spaces to enrich the quality of life for present and future generations in a safe and secure environment.
An amphitheatre, community built playground, basketball and tennis courts, walking paths, pavilion and a sensory garden make the Parkside Place Complex a destination for passive and active recreation.
Programs such as the summer basketball league, recreation camp, tennis instruction, bus trips, sports and science camps as well as the Fall Fest, Carnival, outdoor concerts and special interest programs are some of the activities offered to the community. In addition, discount tickets for amusement parks and ski areas are sold during the appropriate season.
